A very warm welcome to you who is about to take a read of this week's devotion... I give thanks, glory and honor to God for the gift of a new day! We could have perished! But we are here! If I may ask: What should everything that has breath do? The answer is: Let everything that has breath praise the Lord, God Almighty (Psalm 150:6) . Then there is this common phrase that; “God is good, all the time and all the time, God is good and that is His nature, wow!” As we get done with the phrase, we feel we must arise and give God a standing ovation. Some of us don’t do it just because the leader has asked us to do so or because everyone else has stood up but because deep inside of us, we feel it and can verify without a doubt that indeed, God is good at all times. Allow me to request you to give a mighty hand clap to God for the gift of life today! Thank God that you are alive and well. Even if you are not feeling fine in your body and circumstance, at least you are here. Thank God if you are able to get up, sit down, refresh and move around on your own without any assistance. You can appreciate what I am telling you the moment you fall sick or visit medical centers where a number of people are unable to help themselves. It is quite tough out there. Thank God if you are able to live, move and have your being. Some people have since departed from our community. I am grateful to God on the one hand for all those who celebrated important days of their lives between January and June 2024. I pray that God will sustain that joy and achievements and that you will live to testify and tell of God’s goodness in the land of the living and prosperous.
