JANUARY TO MARCH 2026: WHAT IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES? ENDURING THROUGH AND THROUGH

Image
I may not be certain of how you are feeling or what exactly you are going through but as a fellow human being, I know that there must be a situation or situations that you could be facing that are either exciting or dismaying. I am placing these thoughts together two days after I attended burial of one of the leaders (Chairman LC1) within my local area who passed away in an accident on Friday February 27, 2026 somewhere, between Luweero and Wobulenzi (as told). When I first got the news, it didn’t occur to me that the name I heard was relating to the person I knew. I can’t tell why I thought it was another person. It happens for the mind. It was not until I went to see one of the engineers in the business center that I got clear information that the person who had passed on was the leader I knew. He was no more! Further information was that the people he was moving with, had also died. Such pain! The past two months of 2026 have been marred with news of deaths here and there. If no...

JUNE INTO JULY | THE BEAUTY OF GOD'S GOODNESS

Image
Psalm 23:6 | Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all my days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Welcome to the month of July, 2025! June is done just like we went through May, April, March, February and January of this year.  I thank God for this far He has brought each of us and our loved ones (people within our circles). Look or see how far you have come! From the many years past, to the last six months of this year! Isn’t our Creator amazing? He is, very amazing. Over the past, we have experienced both good times on the one hand and challenging times on the other. I believe that all these were for the glory, honor and praise to God. We thank God for the commemorations and celebrations. We rejoice with those who rejoice and stand with those who have faced trials of different kinds. What are you focusing on this season? Who are you dealing with? Who do you intend to deal with? Will the relationship you are in or intending to get into yield...

THE MONTH OF MAY 2025 | HIS WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS

Image
It is amazing to note that we are alive today! Blessings and peace upon you. I thank God for you and your loved ones. The phrase, “no man is an island” is one that I have heard over time and my simple interpretation is that I need you in my life more than you might need me. God has been faithful to me and my family; we have come this far not by our own might, strength or power but by the grace, mercy and Spirit of God our Creator. From experience, life can be very challenging and appalling if we don't appreciate each other. It can be difficult if we don't wish each other well. I am particularly glad that God has blessed me with people whom I appreciate and I believe, who appreciate me. One of the reasons my write up for the month of May comes at the end of the month and not at the beginning is because of the toughness of the season I have been going through. At the very start of April, we received my dad-in-law (Abooki Robert Mpakani) at our home in Bombo. He ha...

APRIL 2025 | IT IS ALL ABOUT HOW YOU VIEW LIFE

Image
Romans 8:31-32: “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who will be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? April 2025 is here! Thank God, thank goodness! How are you? How are your dear ones? I pray that all is moving on well. But even if you have some challenges, at least you are alive. Be grateful. Again I say, be grateful for that breath. There are people on life-support, as you read this. Some have actually passed-away. But you are alive. Thank your Maker. What shall we say, then? Should we continue to lament and cry that this life is hard or difficult? I think NOT. Each person (myself inclusive) must raise their head, gather all the strength from within and shout out victory over every aspect of their life. This world or life has a way of making us feel as though we are helpless at crossroads; at the verge of collapse; at the end of a narro...

MARCH 2025 | CELEBRATING WOMEN: DOING THE RIGHT THING

Image
Proverbs 31:10: “A Wife of Noble Character Who Can Find? She Is Worth Far More Than Rubies. Her Husband Has Full Confidence in Her and Lacks Nothing in Value.” Many (not all) men are gathering and sitting around tables to do just one thing: celebrate women and pray for them to flourish in life. I am talking about that man who knows the value and worth of a woman. We look forward to March 8, 2025 when we shall be celebrating International Women’s Day. To give it some context, we might have to date back to March 8 1917 when thousands of women in Russia heralded the start of the Russian revolution by going on strike to demand bread and in protest at the toll of Russian lives in the First World War. Within days, the Tsar had abdicated and women were given the vote. International Women’s Day has been celebrated ever since. Some other sources indicate that the United Nations began celebrating March 8 as International Women’s Day in 1975 which was the International Women’s Year. The day...

FEBRUARY 2025: LET BY-GONES BE BY-GONES

Image
JANUARY is gone!  FEBRUARY is here . Thank God! Who knew that we would go through? Who knows that we are going through and that  we will go through? The answers are in two words, "ONLY GOD". Each of has some level of faith, On the inside of us reigns some faith indeed, May be all of it... all of faith. After all, What we need is small faith, small  as a mustard seed (Mathew 17:20). That's what we need, To command anything, Including a mountain to move, And it will move. February is known as a love month https://www.avita.at/en/blog/love-month-february/ Mainly because, February 14 is St. Valentine's Day  https://www.britannica.com/topic/Valentines-Day   And, February 16 is St. Janani Luwum Day  https://ndejjesss.ac.ug/remembrance-of-archbishop-janani-luwum-day-on-every-16th-february/  One will have to choose, Whether to celebrate this day, Or the other day, or both. After all, they both involve love...
