JUNE INTO JULY | THE BEAUTY OF GOD'S GOODNESS

 

Psalm 23:6 | Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all my days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Welcome to the month of July, 2025! June is done just like we went through May, April, March, February and January of this year. 

I thank God for this far He has brought each of us and our loved ones (people within our circles). Look or see how far you have come! From the many years past, to the last six months of this year! Isn’t our Creator amazing? He is, very amazing.

Over the past, we have experienced both good times on the one hand and challenging times on the other. I believe that all these were for the glory, honor and praise to God. We thank God for the commemorations and celebrations. We rejoice with those who rejoice and stand with those who have faced trials of different kinds.

What are you focusing on this season? Who are you dealing with? Who do you intend to deal with? Will the relationship you are in or intending to get into yield positive or negative results? We ought to focus on yielding positive output.

July is NOT a month for the faint-hearted but for the bold and beautiful at heart. It will take truth and pure intention for each of us to breakthrough in this month. It will require both hard and smart work for us to achieve on our targets. Ultimately, everyone wishes to live well and happily. We will have to cut some sleep out and burn a few midnight candles if we are to see light at the end of the tunnel.

At whatever age or stage you might be in your life, I am grateful for you. Appreciate God for who you are. What matters most is that you are alive. The rest will fall in place, one by one through faith and working towards what we wish to see.

There might have been days or moments when you felt lonely and abandoned; when nothing seemed to make sense. There must have been those times when hope was far from containing. But you went through that situation or those situations too. Here you are! Thank God. I hope you can find space and the grace to forgive and let go of people who hurt or harm you so badly in the past.

Let us always remember that God’s grace found us just as we are, empty handed but alive in his hands. Forever we are being changed or transformed by his love in the presence of his majesty. There is no place we would be rather than in the presence of God’s majesty. It is in the presence of God that we feel safe, confident and fulfilled. Everything and anywhere else is but mere seeking sand; a waste of time, space and energy.

There are people who follow us because of who we are and what we have. The question is whether they will stay with us when we are no longer what we are and when we no longer have what we have. Be very careful. Pray that the right and genuine people shall come into your lives.

By way of conclusion month and those to come ushers us into a season of rising political campaigns and tension if I may call it so. I have heard of young people who have perished in accidents and some have been hurt in one way or another as they were involved in rallies in support of their candidates. 

We pray that there shall be no bloodshed in the days ahead. How wonderful it will be if we, as Ugandans, go through the election period without any violence or instances of torture, inhuman or degrading treatment and punishment. Each person deserves better in life based on the concept that we are all born free and equal in dignity and rights. We are endowed with reason and conscience and we should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood/sisterhood.
