THE MONTH OF MARCH 2024 | EXPECT MUCH MORE
The
extent of your faith is the level of your growth and development. I was once a
child and now a man. I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor their
children begging for bread. When we expect; when we believe, we receive.
Some
of these statements made by our forefathers bring us to the realization that at
the start and end of each day, everything is about our belief system. We
believed that we would get into 2024 and here we are. We believed that we would
complete the year and get into many other years and here we are journeying on
slowly, one day at a time; one week at a time; one month at a time.
Welcome
to the third month of 2024. March is the month where we expect much more to be
done and much more to be attained at individual, family and corporate/group/association
level. This too, takes or requires faith.
I
know … Along the way, somethings might not move according to the exact way we
planned but we hope to keep on moving. The one who came before us mentioned
that in this world, we would face trials and trouble of many kinds but in the
same statement, he encourages us to take heart because he overcame the world
with all its challenges. In the end, each of us is looking for a good life
devoid of pain, grief and suffering.
Take
note of the enemy or enemies in life. Our enemies are those who want to steal
from us, kill us and destroy us. They get annoyed and troubled every time they
see us advancing in life. They want us to remain where they are despite the
fact that they are moving forward or backward. Shame! Those are the people and
situations we are continuing to put down this month.
We
welcome and appreciate friendships that matter. I say that with caution because
we have had friends along life’s journey who pretend to love and support us but
every time we needed them, they felt and acted as though they were far from us.
But they are friends. The people we are talking about are those who have stood
by us no matter the times, no matter the circumstances. We say, “thank you” to
each of them.
I
thank God for people I know and those I may not know who are preparing for key
events of their lives including celebration of birthdays, introduction,
wedding, anniversary, graduation, promotion, shift to a new home or location,
name it. May God grant you joy and help you to sustain it. I am grateful to God
for the journey mercies for all those who have traveled, those who are
traveling and those who plan to travel. May God carry us through.
I
pray with faith that all those who need God’s intervention in one way or
another shall have the hand of God stretched towards them all the time,
everywhere. There are people who have been thrown out of their relationships
and homes; people who have been looking everywhere for job placements; people
who might not know how they are making it through to the next hour of their
lives.
At
the end of it all, it matters that we lived lives that were full of hope that
everything would work out well for those who put their trust in God alone,
totally. This world can mean to stress and confuse. We need a place to go to
and reflect as we pour out our hearts about anything and everything. That place
is the presence of our Creator.
