THE MONTH OF AUGUST 2023 | IT IS NOT OVER YET

 

It is not over yet; it is the beginning of everything. You have not yet seen anything; you are yet to see quite so much ahead. That is what I am telling you as we venture into this eighth month of the year, 2023. The Bible reminds us in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 that what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard and what no mind has comprehended is what God has prepared for those who love him. Do you love God? Expect something new in your life. I can assure you.

Friends, when you look at what is going on in and around your life, you almost become a mere pretender if you tell people that all is well because nothing is well. And yet on the flip-side, in the spiritual and faith sense, we are told to confess positively and that confession is possession. This wonderful reminder is in Mark 11:24 that whatever things we ask for in prayer, we ought to believe that we have received them, and we will have them.

I am here to encourage you that the party is just beginning. Do not say goodbye as yet. Life is just beginning; do not quit as yet. It is cowardly to quit in a battle where you think that your opponent is stronger than you. Why can’t you try your chances at them? What if you actually discover that they were just big for nothing? Let me remind you that in 1 Samuel 17:50, David defeated Goliath with a sling and a rock. He killed him without even using a sword. David ran over and pulled out Goliath’s sword and used it to cut off Goliath’s head.

You may therefore see that all you need in life is tactic, not so much of the size or energy. Everyone seemed to despise David and some actually warned him to stay away from the giant but because of faith and determination, the young man was unstoppable to the very end of time.

My prayer for you this month is that God shall grant you the ability to look at life from the positive point of view; that you will see a way out where there is absolutely no way and that human fear shall be taken away from your life. Yes, I understand that we cannot run away from reality but when reality strikes and you find yourself between a rock and a hard place, please gather all your energy and tell yourself and everyone around you that it is not over yet.

I love you and I pray for you.

May God lead you through at whatever point of life you may be. I pray for the Executive; I pray for the Judiciary, and I pray for the Legislature. May God continue to use all leaders to serve everyone according to God’s guidance and not according to human judgment. I pray that all perpetrators of human rights violations and those plotting evil shall be defeated at their own game. I cancel all plans and attacks of the enemy. I cancel all sickness and pain this month. I cancel all misery and tears of pain.

I speak and declare according to God’s word in Psalm 23:6 that goodness and mercy (love) shall follow each of us all the days of our live and that we shall dwell in the house of the Lord, now and forevermore; amen.

Wishing you a lovely and fruitful month of August 2023. Live and enjoy each day like it is the last while at the same time planning for tomorrow as though you have a million more years to live.

JUNE INTO JULY | THE BEAUTY OF GOD'S GOODNESS

  Psalm 23:6 | Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all my days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Welcome to the month of July, 2025! June is done just like we went through May, April, March, February and January of this year.  I thank God for this far He has brought each of us and our loved ones (people within our circles).
