LETTING GO OF CHILDISH WAYS: MOVING ON TO MATURITY

1 Corinthians 3:1-3 Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly – mere infants in Christ. I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. Indeed, you are still not ready. You are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and quarreling among you, are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere humans?   Dear Reader, A very warm welcome to this week’s devotion as we speak and reflect upon moving on from childhood unto maturity. The time is now! We must drop or throw away childish ways and adopt or pick up mature behavior, attitude and character. Some of us seem to have been children for long; crying for milk yet we are supposed to be feeding on muhogo/ cassava! This is the day that God has made. We are rejoicing and being glad in it. APRIL 2024 | A REASON TO CELEBRATE LIFE

  The old is gone, the new has come! Whenever a month ends and we start another one, it is almost rare that we look at or consider the number of past days and those ahead of us. I am certain that many of us keep considering the present day with a hope that we shall get into the next. That's okay. Welcome to April, 2024!   It is the month where we will be engaging at higher level and with a lighter gear. It's at a time where we have already engaged the first, second, third and now on the fourth. In the automobile language, we are at high speed and considering that the road is flat, unless we find a climb, humps or any disruptions, it shall be unlikely for us to reduce speed. Let's keep moving. Happy days to all of us... There are people who are looking forward to celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, receiving of babies in the family, salary increment, promotions, among others. That's okay.
